Wonderful Wednesday:
Hi Parents:
Today
we had a wonderful day reviewing our lessons. We completed most of our unit in
the My View book and revisited the two stories we have been studying.
The students did a great job!
As
we are getting closer to the upcoming exams, I will be sending home worksheets
for extra practice. These will help your child feel more confident and
prepared.
Please
note that tonight’s
worksheets are review worksheets that students have already completed in class.
Some students made mistakes the first time, so this is a great opportunity for
them to practice again, learn from their errors, and improve their
understanding.
For
tonight’s homework:
I have sent home a listening practice worksheet. Please use the answer key
(Line group) to read each word aloud to your child. Say each word two
times (2x) only. This will help simulate real test conditions.
- Please do not
repeat the words more than twice
- Please do not
change the order of the words
- Encourage your
child to listen carefully and do their best
This
activity should not take long, as our A1 students are becoming quick and
confident test takers π
Additionally,
please encourage your child to read My View 1.3, pages 63–65, “The
Race.” They should be familiar with this decodable story and be able to
answer simple comprehension questions about it.
