Week 14: Wednesday (12/1)

  For   homework , -  We will continue reading ' Ox Helps 'πŸ‚, from pages  70 - 83  in our  Reading Street (1.1)  books. -  We will have a  story test  at the end of the week  (12/3) . -  We have a  worksheet  to complete. We have gone through the answers in class. Please also find the  answers in the Line Group . The worksheet only needs to be completed by Friday. πŸ’«There is another small worksheet to practice finding  rhyming pairs . -  Look at the picture and write  the matching rhyming words in each bubble. -  Rhyming words are words that  sound the same . -  We will write out our  new Vocabulary Words  11-16 , in our  Writers Book   (bubble book) . Week 14: Monday (11/29)

The Christmas party performance will be on December 17th (12/17) . We will practice the performance in class time after English work has been covered. We moved to a new classroom today and the students behavior is not at its best. Week 13: Friday (11/26)

Please sign all 3 exams and return them to school on Monday (11/29) . Please sign the top right box, keep it inside the Communication Book and return it to school on Monday. Once I have checked that it's signed, it will be sent back home for you to keep.🏑 LETTER ✉ - I have put a letter in the Communication book to let you pick a time to see me about student progress. - You can fill in the times you are available according to the times available on the letter. - If there are no questions and feel there is no need, then you can fill in 'no interview needed this time'. Homework tonight: 'Preview Week 14 Vocabulary Words' You can find these Vocabulary words in the  Communication Book on page 30 . We will just look ahead at them, no writing required. Thank you, Tr. Here is a  game  where students can practice telling the difference between short and long o sound: - Listen & pick the blob which gives the correct ‘o’ sound. There will be a  written exam tomorrow,  23 November (Tuesday) . There will be no worksheet, due to the written exam this week. Today, we started reading  Ox Helps  πŸ‚ page 70-79. We wrote the vocabulary words in the  bubble book  during class time. Today, we wrote the vocabulary words 1-5. These can be found on  page 28  in the  Communication Book . We finished our oral exam. Students did their best to read and answer questions nicely and clearly. Exams will be returned to students next week Friday ( 11/26 ). We had our 1st Listening Exam today. I will not hand out the exam paper today. I will gather all 3 of the exams before handing it to the students.
