Week 1: Wednesday (8/31) Let's get started! ⭐

For   homework , Reading: -  We will begin reading  'Mama's Birthday Present'🎁 , from pages  20-31  in our  Reading Street (1.4)  books. ☑Worksheet: Story homework  (due Friday)                                                                                                                                                                 📖📑📚 Bubble Book: -  We will write out our  new Vocabulary Words  1-12 ,  in our   bubble book . Practice writing each Vocabulary Word (X4) neatly on the  green  line. - Check corrections  - Check if there is a star ' * ', you will need to write the sentence again. - Write the date at the top  -   Wednesday, 8/31 - Write the VWs and number;  1-12 - Then write 5 sentences and number each one;  1-5 For example: 1.  I am as slow as a snail .🐌 2.  This is my pencil, I paid for it.💰 3.  I take the 7:30am train  to school.🚆 4.  Eeny, meeny, miny, mo, catch a tiger by the tail . Oh no! It's 'toe' not ' tail '.🐅 5.

Week 1: Tuesday (8/30) Welcome back! ⭐

Welcome back! ⭐ I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to continue learning English together. Also, welcome to new parents and students! I will be challenging students a little more this year. Always be encouraged to try your best! Please remember to bring your summer homework tomorrow. Wednesday (8/31) Summer homework will be presented in Experience class . Choose a few things from your holiday homework that you'd like to share with the class. The rest of the students remember to be quiet during other presentations. Let's dive into the Grade 2 year: Since our English lessons will start tomorrow , please wait for the homework to be handed out tomorrow as well. We will also start in our bubble books tomorrow , Wednesday . (8/31) NOTE: There will be no quiz this week due to schedule contraints. But we will have a story test next week Thursday (9/8) . In the meantime, students may preview vocabulary or Reading Street if received. Thank you, Tr. Megan 😊
