Terrific Thursday:

Hello Parents,

Today marked the end of this semester's testing. The students completed their final exam corrections and had the opportunity to review their work. This was a very exciting time for the children, as many were eager to see how they performed and were proud of the effort they put into their exams. There were lots of smiles and positive reactions.

As I mentioned to the students, the Oral Exams were the most valuable assessment tool for me as a teacher. While written exams provide important information about vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing skills, the Oral Exam is where I can truly assess a student's progress and fluency in English. It allows me to evaluate pronunciation, sentence structure, comprehension, confidence, and the ability to communicate naturally in English.

I am very pleased with the progress I observed during the Oral Exams. Many students demonstrated significant growth compared to the beginning of the semester. They were able to answer questions more confidently, speak in longer sentences, and show a stronger understanding of the language. These improvements are a direct result of their hard work in class and the support they receive at home.

Overall, this has been a successful semester. The children have worked diligently, accepted challenges, and continued to develop their English skills every day. While exam scores are important, I am equally proud of the growth, effort, and positive attitudes the students have shown throughout the year.

As we begin wrapping up the school year, I would like to thank all of the parents for your support, encouragement, and cooperation. Your involvement plays an important role in your child's success, and I truly appreciate everything you do to help them learn and grow.

The children should feel very proud of their accomplishments this semester. I know I am proud of them. They are ready for grade two (2).
