Magic Monday
Hello Parents,
I
hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
This
week, we will focus on reviewing for the Final Written Exam. The students will
also complete the final draft of their last writing assignment for Grade 1.
This assignment is an important part of their writing assessment for the
2025–2026 academic school year.
As
we reach the end of the semester, this is a great time for students to reflect
on their Grade 1 experiences and begin preparing for the exciting challenges of
Grade 2.
There
will be no formal homework for the next two days. However, students are still
encouraged to complete their Daily Self-Reflections and continue practicing
Sensay.
Please
spend some time reviewing vocabulary words with your child, as vocabulary is
often the area where students make the most mistakes on exams. It is also very
helpful for students to review the three stories we have studied this quarter:
•
Bigger Shoes for the Big Race
• The Ant and the Grasshopper
• The Clever Monkey
Thank you for your continued support. We are almost at the finish line of a very successful Grade 1 year!
