Tantalizing Tuesday:
Hi Parents:
Today was full of interesting activities in our English class. We visited our school’s Global Education displays, which sparked many questions from the children about countries they were unfamiliar with. Some students who had visited these countries were excited to share their own experiences as well.
Back in class, the students worked on a worksheet; however, many of them were unable to complete their Global Experience worksheet during class time. I have asked them to take it home to finish both the written portion and the decorations.
We also had a short discussion about different countries before continuing with our new story, The Clever Monkey. We were not able to cover as much of the story today because we spent time reviewing and explaining the homework worksheets.
Please encourage your child to spend some time reading independently at home.
