Week 3: Friday (9/17)

Today, we wrote our 2nd quiz!

Quiz papers have been checked and sent home inside the communication books.


The results for our second quiz today:

100% 13 students (hooray!)

>80% 16 students

>60% 3 student

>40% 3 students (Don't worry, we will keep practicing to succeed.)

>20% 0 students


Please sign the top right box and return it to school on Wednesday.

Again, students need to realize how important it is not to look around or talk during a quiz. I will repeat myself when we are doing the Listening Part A. Some students want to repeat after me and this is not helpful as then there is confusion on what to write.

We also spoke more about the upcoming Moon Festival!

We listened to a moon festival song, you can find it here: The Round Moon

And we took home a moon festival worksheet to color, something relaxed after a quiz.


Homework tonight is: 'Preview Week 4 Vocabulary Words'. You can find these Vocabulary words in the Communication Book on page 10. We will just look ahead at them, no writing required.

Week 4: Friday (9/22)

   For homework: - Read Reading Street 1.R , P66-79  📘 - Preview Week 5 vocabulary words Just look ahead at them, no writing needed. Here are the  A1 quiz results : 100%      - 12 students (Well done! 🙌) > 90%     - 16 students > 60%     - 1 student Remember, these scores  don't  count towards anything. 🚫 It is just practice. Students should focus on the  vocabulary words  and  story  of the week for each quiz. Students may do corrections on their quiz paper and parents may sign the quiz paper and put it inside the Communication Book for me to find. Enjoy your Friday! 👋
