Tired Thursday:

Hi Parents:

Today was a fast-paced and productive day in class! We spent time working in our Phonics books and also read our MyView story together. It was especially fun to see some friendly competition between the homerooms. This gave our A1 students a great opportunity to practice and improve their reading fluency in an exciting and encouraging way. It was wonderful to see such healthy competition and enthusiasm for learning.

Tonight, the children do not have too much homework because I would like them to focus primarily on this week’s vocabulary words. It would be very beneficial for them to review their vocabulary definition worksheet carefully.

Tomorrow, we will begin our final writing assignment of the semester. Students will be reflecting on their first-grade experience by thinking about questions such as: What was first grade like? What were their favorite memories? How could the year have been even better?

If possible, please take some time to talk with your child about their experiences this year. These conversations can help them organize their thoughts and feel more confident as they begin writing.

Thank you for your continued support!
