Hopefully you all had a great weekend!
Today in class we were productive as the children got a lot done. We first reviewed this weeks vocabulary PPT and then the vocabulary/definitions worksheet I prepared.
I was originally going to send the My View books 1.2 and practice book 1.1 home today, however I will keep it in school until after next Friday as there are still a few pages in the practice book that coincides with the new 1.3 first story.
We opened our new My View 1.3 books today to get started on our new unit. It was quite interesting to see the children's awareness of this new books progress. Some students were able to predict what was happening next, and this was not about the story. The books are made similarly so the pattern of each unit is quite the same. We were able to get through the first few pages of exercises in the student book. The children were asked to please try to complete the first few pages of phonics and easy pages of Practice book 1.2.
The test scores for last week will be sent home tomorrow as I had a few students out on holiday who returned today. They were able to complete their tests after lunchtime. Our class continues to make steady progress.
