Terrific Tuesday
Today was a great day in our English level class. We have completed most of our phonics lessons and spent time reviewing for the upcoming exam. The students are well prepared, and I expect them to do very well. As long as they continue reviewing their Mid-Term worksheets, they should feel confident and ready.
In phonics, we focused on long O and long U vocabulary words. We will continue to reinforce these long vowel sounds with additional worksheets after the exams, once our regular schedule resumes.
Homework will be kept light this week, with only one worksheet assigned. Students are also encouraged to review their vocabulary words and stories.
I understand that many students are also preparing for their Chinese exams. I am confident in their readiness for English, so this allows them to place more focus on their Chinese studies during this time.
