Tiring Thursday

Hi Parents:

What a busy day it has been! The students have finally returned to a more normal routine—yay! I’ve also been able to catch up and prepare for the final quarter of the semester. It’s going to be fast-paced and intense as I prepare the children for Grade 2. Get ready parents!

Please encourage your child to practice writing as much as possible. Their “Self Reflection” should be written daily to help improve writing skills and to practice spelling vocabulary they may not be familiar with. I hope to see this daily in their bubble books to ensure their writing skills are improving.

week 11 PPT
Here is the link to the Week 11 vocabulary words. I’m not sure why it didn’t work yesterday, but I checked it again and it opened quickly. I hope this resolves the issue for anyone who couldn’t access it before.

My sincere apologies for not publishing my blog yesterday. I posted it early this morning—all I needed to do was click “publish.” The blog now includes the worksheets and interview information from yesterday’s work, all available for your review.

Tonight, the children are excited to bring home their exam results. I’m extremely PROUD of them! In the A1 level group, the averages were:

  • Listening = 100%
  • Oral = 96%
  • Written = 100%

I did expect them to perform well, as I challenge them more in our daily curriculum, so these tests were not too difficult for them.

WE WILL HAVE A VOCABULARY QUIZ TOMORROW.
