Week 3 Welcome back

Dear Parents of Grade 1 Class 102,

Warm greetings! My name is Ms. Dee, and I will be teaching A1 during the absence of Teacher Megan while she is on maternity leave. I am truly honored to step into this role and support your children during this special time.

I am originally from Hawaii and a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo. I have many years of experience working with young learners, particularly at the Grade 1 level. Throughout my teaching career, I have developed a strong understanding of how first graders learn best—through structured guidance, positive encouragement, hands-on activities, and meaningful connections. My experience has shown that with the right balance of patience, creativity, and clear expectations, Grade 1 students thrive both academically and socially.

It is truly a privilege to help pave the educational journey of these young minds. I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to inspire, guide, and nurture your children as they grow in confidence and curiosity. My goal is to create a warm, supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued, safe, and motivated to learn.

I look forward to working together with you to ensure a successful and joyful year forA1. Please feel free to reach out at any time.

Warm regards,

Ms. Dee
