- Neatly write out Vocabulary Words 17 - 24 (x4) in the Bubble Book.


- Corrections - Check if there is a star '*', you will need to write the sentence again.

- Write the date at the top - Wednesday, 10/16

- Write the VWs and number; 17-24

- Then write 3 sentences and number each one; 1, 2, 3

For example:

1. The wealthy man got married.

2. The president traveled around the world.

3. Listen to Tr. Megan!!

- Underline each VW in each sentence.

G2 1st Exam Scope, Fall 2024

 

Dear parents,

 

Exams will be held on:

 

Listening Exam – Wednesday, October, 23rd, 2024

Oral Exam – Thursday & Friday, October 24th & 25th, 2024

Written Exam –Tuesday, October 29th, 2024

 

The exams may cover the following: 

 

LISTENING EXAM:

Communication book vocabulary Weeks 2-8

 

ORAL EXAM:   

Students will be asked to read a short paragraph that focuses on the vocabulary from W2-8 and use a complete sentence to answer 5 questions based on the paragraph. Students will be evaluated on fluency, pronunciation, intonation, clarity and accuracy.

 

Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify and pronounce:

R-controlled vowel ar

       Plural -es

                 Trigraph -dge

                 Vowel digraphs -ai-, -ay-

                                          -ou-, -ow-

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 2-8

 

Story comprehension:

Before the Railroad Came

What is the Story of Our Flag?
