For homework,
Reading:
- We will continue reading 'Alexander Graham Bell'π, from pages 184-193 in our Reading Street (1.5) books.

Bubble Book:
- We will write out our new Vocabulary Words 1-12, in our bubble book.
Practice writing each Vocabulary Word (X4) neatly on the green line.
- Check corrections - Check if there is a star '*', you will need to write the sentence again.
- Write the date at the top - Monday, 12/20
- Write the VWs and number; 1-12
- Then write 5 sentences and number each one; 1-5
For example:
1. The early bird will catch the worm first. π
2. We have science class on Wednesday mornings. π₯Όπ§ͺ
3. Close your eyes and listen. What sounds do you hear? π
4. You need to let the meat thaw in the morning so that it will be ready at night.
5. Sometimes I daydream about things I want to do. π

Vocabulary Comprehension: Vocabulary words from weeks 13-16
Story comprehension (understanding of the story):
· Mole and Baby Bird (RS1.5 pages 52-89)
· Simple Machines (RS1.5 pages 130-165)
Pronouns
Students may be asked to identify:

- Diphthongs oi, oy
- Suffixes –er, -or
