Homework

Reading:

- We will read 'A Big Fish for Max'🎣🐰, from pages 16 - 33 in our Reading Street (1.2) books.

We will read it again because there will be questions about the story in the written exam on March 29th, tomorrow.


Game:

Here is the 'Who am I' game that we played as part of the RWN reading: Who am I?


Worksheet:

There is no worksheet due this week. Students may focus on studying for their exams.

Bubble Book:

- We will write out our new VW 1-7, in our bubble book. You can find these words on page 16 in the Communication Book.

Practice writing each VW (X4) neatly on the green line.


- Check corrections - Check if there is a star '*', you will need to write the sentence again.

- Write the date at the top - Monday (3/28)

- Write the VWs and number; 1-7

- Then write 3 sentences and number each one; 1, 2, 3

For example:

1. The children hide away.

2. The colorful kite goes in the sky.

3. I need a hose to wash the car.

- In each sentence, underline each VW used.

Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify:

  • Digraphs sh, th, all, al
  • Long vowel a_e
  • Consonants soft c and soft g
