Week 4: Wednesday (3/2)

For homework,

Reading:

- We will begin reading 'Farmer in the Hat'👒, from pages 48 - 65 in our new Reading Street (1.2) books.

✅Worksheet:

The worksheet needs to be completed by Friday.

Long a vowel worksheet:

- Complete the long a vowel worksheet and draw the correct pictures.

- make your own ‘a_e’ words & write sentences using those words.

Bubble Book:

- We will write out our new Vocabulary Words 10-18 (<- Please note), in our Writers Book (bubble book). You can find these words on page 8 in the Communication Book.

Fold the page in half (X2) to practice writing each Vocabulary Word (X4) neatly on the green line.

- Check corrections - Check if there is a star '*', you will need to write the sentence again.

- Write the date at the top - Wednesday, 3/2

- Write the VWs and number; 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18

- Then write 3 sentences and number each one; 1, 2, 3, 4

For example:

1. Do you like to eat cereal?

2. Should an animal be in a cage?

3. I want to be a teacher!

4. That horse is old.

- In each sentence, underline each VW used.
