Week 3: Saturday (9/11)

Today, we started the story, ‘Snap’ from Reading Street. We went through the Vocabulary Words first, then reading pages 44 - 48.

PS: I will send the vocabulary words PPT to you on Monday (9/13) so the students can look at it again after some Sunday rest.


In our Readers and Writers Notebook, we practiced more sounds which will help us read our new story, 'Snap'. We also noticed that nouns are people, animals, things, as well as places.🏡🏠🏢🏦🏪

Here is a fun activity for students to play. You need to find the picture which is a place. But be careful of the monsters!👾

Wednesday (8/30) First Day of Grade 1!

Week 4: Friday (9/22)

   For homework: - Read Reading Street 1.R , P66-79  📘 - Preview Week 5 vocabulary words Just look ahead at them, no writing needed. Here are the  A1 quiz results : 100%      - 12 students (Well done! 🙌) > 90%     - 16 students > 60%     - 1 student Remember, these scores  don't  count towards anything. 🚫 It is just practice. Students should focus on the  vocabulary words  and  story  of the week for each quiz. Students may do corrections on their quiz paper and parents may sign the quiz paper and put it inside the Communication Book for me to find. Enjoy your Friday! 👋
